Important News for Enactus

After 15 years of service as the Executive Vice President of Enactus, Bruce Nasby has announced his retirement at the end of 2013. When Bruce started at Enactus, the annual revenue was $3,700,000, the number of countries was 6, the number of universities was 577, and there were a few thousand students. Over these 15 years, Bruce made significant contributions to the leadership of Enactus in Fundraising, Development, Program, and was instrumental in the International expansion and growth of Enactus which now has global revenue of $20,000,000 in 39 countries with over 1,600 universities and over 62,000 students. Bruce’s contribution to Enactus will be celebrated this year at various Enactus events around the world.

With Bruce’s impending retirement at the end of 2013, Enactus Worldwide Headquarters will be able to advance its strategic plan by using this transition time to restructure to continue building a financially sustainable global organization.

In the latter part of 2013, Donna Patterson who is currently President, Enactus USA and SVP Worldwide, will become the President of a new division, Worldwide Fundraising, and retain the title SVP Worldwide.

The purpose of the new Worldwide Fundraising division will be to bring greater alignment of the fundraising throughout the network which will result in increased revenue for the entire network. This will be accomplished by raising funds to directly support Enactus Worldwide HQ, managing the major multi-national corporation accounts who are giving in multiple countries (including many of Donna’s current donors in the U.S. and Bruce Nasby’s current donors), consolidating and analyzing fundraising data from the global network, and providing fundraising best practices and training to country operations.

Due to this transition, Enactus will immediately begin a search to fill the position of President, Enactus USA. This will be a worldwide search and will include internal candidates, members of our global network, and external candidates.
